The Fontenay – Interiors @Matteo Thun and Partners, Architecture by Ian Stormer Luxury hotel, The Fontenay | Matteo Thun & Partners Michelle Montefusco worked on this project, which was commissioned to the office Matteo Thun and Partners when she was head of the Styling Department. The client wished to gift an exclusive and luxurious hotel to the city of Hamburg, thus the interiors had to be sophisticated, but also classical with a contemporary feel.

The material selection, both for hard finishes as well as for the FF&E was very carefully selected to convey a sense of understated luxury. The shared spaces of the hotel each had their own very clear imprint: from the dark and intimate wine bar that leads up to the very elegant and luminous roof top for fine dining, from the garden restaurant with its Ming green marble cladding to the quiet calm of the spa every part of the hotel is designed to give each guest an experience of undeniable luxury.
