A large, spacious apartment overlooking the river hosts the incredible contemporary art collection of the couple who commissioned this project. The double height area was designed in order to create airy, wide-open spaces from which to view the individual art pieces with the necessary distance given the large size of some of the paintings.
The light metal passageway almost resembles a ships gangway and connects the kitchen and dining area to the bedrooms, with one floor dedicated to the master suit, and the lower one to other bedrooms. The archways and circular windows represent a nod to the historical context in which this apartment is situated.
